Signs

Midland Barrier Company can provide a wide selection of standard and bespoke signs for informational and directional purposes, and to add security to both residential and business premises.

The text on the signs can read almost anything that is required, but standards are wording such as 'Private Parking', 'Unauthorised Vehicles will be Clamped', 'Release Fee: £50', 'Private Road', etc.

The signs can be either wall or post mounted depending on the requirements of the customer and of the location. We particularly recommend signs if wheel clamps are to be in operation, as this can save many arguments when the clamping has been enforced.

Wheel Clamps

The wheel clamps are designed to fit vehicles from small cars to large vans or small lorries.

These sturdy units fold away compactly for storage purposes, and are fitted with a plate to stop the removal of the vehicle's wheel. They are easy to fit, with a security padlock, and are available in a variety of BS and RAL colours.

Note that wheel clamps can be used on private property, but not on public highways.

The standard size for 'lettered' signs is 900 x 450mm, although this can also be provided in 450 x 450mm size. The sign is usually presented with a yellow background with black edging and text, although a blue background with white writing is also available.
