Midland Barrier Company can provide a range of height restrictors, ranging from our simple yet effective Goal Post type, through our hinged version capable of being unlocked and swung out of the way, to custom build units designed to suit your own application.
Both types have a standard height clearance of 2 metres (6.5 feet), which allow normal height cars and vans to pass through without hindrance, whilst stopping service or delivery vehicles from entering the restricted area.
A wide range of traffic signs, posts, caution signs and strike bars are also available to suit your individual requirements.
Goal Post Version
Made from a robust all-steel box section, semi fixed height restrictor with a removable horizontal cross beam capable of being released, allowing service vehicles to gain access to the site.
Features:
- Surface fixing base plates for east of site erection
- Highly durable Galvanising finish (BS729), or Red Oxide primed for on-site painting
- Heavy duty 100mm square box section used throughout
- Standard height clearance of 2 metres (6 foot, 6 inches)
- Up to five metres clear with opening
- Supplied with security pin and padlock

Hinged Version
This type of height restrictor, which is manufactured from a two-part steel and aluminium construction, allows the horizontal cross beam to be unlocked and swung through 90° thereby permitting unimpeded access to the site.

- Surface fixing base plates for ease of site erection
- Extruded aluminium cross bar coated with White Polyester coating
- Highly durable Galvanising finish to all steel work (BS729)
- Standard height clearance of 2 metres (6 foot, 6 inches)
- Clear width opening of up to eight metres
- Adjustable hanging strike bar
- Supplied with security padlock
